Fingerprint Christmas Light Craft For Kids (DIY Christmas Card Idea!)

I saw this idea on Pinterest and fell in love with it! Making a string of Christmas tree lights out of fingerprints are so cute and could be used for handmade Christmas cards, gift tags, or anything you can think of! I think grandparents, parents, etc. would love this. It also hardly costs anything if you have washable paints laying around! We also made salt dough fingerprint christmas tree ornaments!
Watch us make them…
First take a black sharpie and draw a line with swirls in it. Then draw little squares along the line spaced out to be the bottom of the bulb part.
Have the child dip their pointer finger in different color paints (we used the paint caps to make it easier) and push them right above the black squares. You can do the colors in patterns or have the kids do it randomly!
